Lucy's name means "light," and she is the patron saint of blindness, eye problems, and eye disorders. This decade comes with a medal of St. Lucy with a third-class relic and a St. Raphael medal who cured the blindness of the elder Tobias, and his name means “God has healed.” It also comes with a St. Benedict crucifix, which is very powerful. The Catholic Church recognizes the Jubilee Medal of St. Benedict as a sacramental of Great Power, particularly for those seeking healing from illnesses and deliverance from evil.

O God, our Creator and Redeemer, mercifully hear our prayers that as we venerate Thy servant, St. Lucy, for the light of faith Thou didst bestow upon her, Thou wouldst vouchsafe to increase and to preserve this same light in our souls, that we may be able to avoid evil, to do good and to abhor nothing so much as the blindness and the darkness of evil and of sin. Relying on Thy goodness, O God, we humbly ask Thee, by the intercession of Thy servant, St. Lucy that Thou wouldst give perfect vision to our eyes, that they may serve for Thy greater honor and glory, and for the salvation of our souls in this world, that we may come to the enjoyment of the unfailing light of the Lamb of God in paradise. St. Lucy, virgin, and martyr, hear our prayers and obtain our petitions. Amen

O good St. Raphael, I invoke thee as the patron of those who are afflicted with bodily illness or ailment. Thou didst prepare the remedy which cured the blindness of the elder Tobias, and thy name means “God has healed.” I turn to thee for help in my present need (mention your request). If it be the Will of God, deign to cure my ailment, or at least give me the strength I need to bear it patiently in atonement for my sins and for the salvation of my soul. Amen
